Today we’re looking at basic vocabulary related to finance and accounting. First we’ll hear a short article introducing the vocabulary. Then we’ll go over each word in detail, with some example sentences to show how you can use the words. At the end of the video you’ll have a chance to review and practice your new vocabulary.

New words:

Principle(n): nguyên lí,nguyên tắc.

Flow of funds (n) : dòng tiền.

Record(v) : ghi chép.

Debit(n) : (kế toán) bên Nợ,khoản tiền nợ

To debit an account(v) chuyển(rút) tiền ra khỏi tài khoản ngân hàng.

Credit(n) : (kế toán) bên Có,sự cho vay,tín dụng

To credit an account(v) chuyển(gửi) tiền vào tài khoản ngân hàng.

Transaction (n) : quan hệ,giao dịch

Bookkeeping (n) : sổ sách,công việc kế toán

Bookkeeper (n) : người giữ sổ sách

Ledger (n) : (kế toán) sổ cái
Sale ledger (n): Sổ cái bán hàng

Interval (n) : kì kế toán

Balance (n) : sự cân bằng,số dư trong tài khoản

Accounting (n) : công việc kế toán,ghi chép

Accountant (n) : kế toán viên

Account payable (n) : Các khoản phải trả

Account receivable (n) : Các khoản phải thu
